Bodegas Lustau enhances its exclusive and limited VORS range with the release of a moscatel, solidifying its position as the only Sherry producer offering six different certified wines aged over 30 years.

Bodegas Lustau announces the addition of a new style to its prestigious VORS (Very Old Rare Sherry) range, composed exclusively by wines aged over 30 years certified by the regulatory council: the new Lustau Moscatel VORS. This new addition reinforces Lustau’s position as a leader in the production of exceptional and exclusive wines.

With this new release, Lustau strengthens its position as the winery with the broadest VORS range in the market, reaffirming its commitment to quality and innovation in the production of outstanding wines. Lustau Moscatel VORS is the latest demonstration of the winery’s ability to blend tradition and modernity in these unique wines, which year after year stand out among the most awarded at the world’s major wine competitions.

Sergio Martínez, cellar master and winemaker at Lustau, is responsible for the meticulous selection of this Moscatel VORS, using the oldest soleras that the winery ages in Jerez. Lustau’s VORS wines rest in the so-called “Sacristy,” a very specific area within the bodega’s cellars, which helps them acquire the unique complexity that defines them.

Moscatel VORS has a dark mahogany color. Intense and expressive on the nose, with aromas of candied fruits and a characteristic spicy background, accompanied by noble wood and smoky nuances. Very balanced on the palate, with excellent acidity. Creamy and velvety, it has an almost endless finish.

The inaugural release of this Lustau Moscatel VORS, with a solera consisting of only 3 barrels, comes to market with a very limited number of units: 558 bottles.

Lustau’s VORS range consists of 6 different wines, making it the most comprehensive on the market. Each bottle comes in a presentation box and can be found in the best specialized stores and in our online shop.
